Roar of serengeti safaris uses cookies to enhance your experience. By clicking 'Accept All' you agree to analytical, advertising, and social media cookies. Read our Privacy Policy.
All trips operated by Roar of Serengeti Safaris are provided with a detailed itinerary describing the destinations, activities, accommodation, and experiences included in the safari or holiday. This enables our clients to understand what to expect from their trip.
We will make every reasonable effort to provide the safari services agreed with the client. However, itineraries may need to be changed due to unforeseen circumstances, including road closures, adverse weather conditions, operational difficulties, government regulations, safety or security considerations, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where changes are necessary, Roar of Serengeti Safaris will inform clients as soon as reasonably possible and make alternative arrangements where circumstances permit. We will make every reasonable effort to maintain the same general quality and character of the agreed itinerary.
Clients acknowledge that travel conditions in Tanzania and other African destinations may differ from those in their home countries. Government-regulated fees, taxes, park fees, conservation charges, and other local costs may change without prior notice. Roar of Serengeti Safaris reserves the right to pass any such increases on to the client.
Once a client confirms a booking, Roar of Serengeti Safaris will issue an invoice containing the relevant booking and payment details.
To confirm a reservation, we require a 45% deposit of the total itinerary cost. Airline tickets, where applicable, must be paid for 100% upfront before tickets are issued.
The remaining balance is due 65 days before the commencement date of the itinerary.
For bookings made within 65 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of confirmation.
Payments can be made by bank wire or bank transfer using the payment details provided on the invoice.
Any bank charges, transfer fees, or other costs associated with making the payment are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If a client cancels a booking, either in whole or in part, for any reason, cancellation charges will apply as follows:
These cancellation charges reflect commitments already made to accommodation providers, guides, transport providers, national parks, airlines, and other service providers.
Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation and trip interruption protection.
After a booking has been confirmed, clients may request changes to their itinerary or departure date. Roar of Serengeti Safaris will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, subject to availability and the terms of our suppliers.
Any additional costs charged by hotels, airlines, lodges, camps, transport providers, or other suppliers will be payable by the client.
An administration fee of €150 per booking may apply to confirmed itinerary changes, in addition to any supplier charges.
Unless otherwise stated, prices published on the Roar of Serengeti Safaris website are generally quoted per person, based on two people sharing, and in US dollars (US$).
Website prices are provided as a general guide and may change due to supplier price changes, exchange-rate fluctuations, government taxes, national park fees, conservation fees, fuel costs, or other operational costs.
Unless specifically stated in the quotation, prices may not include:
The final price payable by the client will be the price stated on the official invoice or quotation issued by Roar of Serengeti Safaris.
Unless otherwise specified, quotations are valid for 14 days and are subject to availability.
Where applicable, clients will receive their final travel documents, including vouchers, tickets, luggage information, and other relevant travel documents, before departure.
Clients are responsible for reviewing all travel documents carefully and notifying us immediately if any information appears to be incorrect.
It is a condition of booking that every client obtains suitable and comprehensive travel insurance for the entire duration of their trip.
Insurance should provide adequate cover for medical expenses, emergency assistance, evacuation and repatriation, cancellation or curtailment, baggage loss or damage, personal belongings, and other risks associated with international travel.
Roar of Serengeti Safaris strongly recommends insurance that includes emergency medical evacuation, including air ambulance or flying-doctor services where appropriate.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that their insurance policy is adequate for their individual circumstances and planned activities.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, visas, permits, vaccination certificates, and any other documents required for entry into Tanzania and any other countries included in their itinerary.
Passport and visa requirements vary according to nationality and may change. Clients should confirm the latest requirements with the relevant embassy, consulate, immigration authority, or official government source before travelling.
Passports should generally have sufficient validity for the destination and travel period. Roar of Serengeti Safaris cannot be held responsible for costs, delays, denied boarding, refused entry, or other consequences resulting from incorrect, expired, or missing travel documents.
Clients must carefully check all names, dates, passport details, and other information shown on their invoice and booking confirmation as soon as they receive them.
Any errors should be reported to Roar of Serengeti Safaris immediately.
Where a name correction or change is required after travel documents have been issued, the client may be responsible for any applicable supplier charges and an administration fee of €125, where applicable.
The contract for your safari or holiday is between the client and Roar of Serengeti Safaris and is subject to these Terms and Conditions.
By requesting confirmation of a booking and/or making a deposit or payment, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
Roar of Serengeti Safaris specializes in tailor-made safari and holiday arrangements designed around individual client requirements.
A binding booking is considered confirmed once Roar of Serengeti Safaris has received the required deposit or full payment, as applicable, and has confirmed the reservation in writing.
Failure to make payments by the applicable due date may result in cancellation of the booking and the application of the relevant cancellation charges.
Clients must inform Roar of Serengeti Safaris of any medical condition, disability, mobility limitation, dietary requirement, allergy, or other circumstance that may affect their ability to participate safely in the proposed itinerary before confirming their booking.
We will make reasonable efforts to assess whether requested arrangements can be accommodated. However, certain safari activities, lodges, camps, vehicles, walking activities, remote locations, or other services may have physical or medical limitations.
Where we reasonably determine that a requested arrangement cannot be safely accommodated, we reserve the right to decline or modify the booking.
Clients should check their confirmation invoice, itinerary, vouchers, tickets, and other travel documents immediately upon receipt.
Any errors or omissions should be reported to Roar of Serengeti Safaris as soon as possible so that we can attempt to correct them before departure.
Requests to change a confirmed itinerary may be subject to availability, supplier terms, additional costs, and an administration fee.
No changes can be guaranteed, particularly close to the departure date. Requests made within 65 days of departure may be subject to cancellation charges and supplier restrictions.
Roar of Serengeti Safaris reserves the right to cancel or substantially modify a holiday or safari where circumstances make it reasonably necessary to do so.
Where we cancel a booking for reasons within our reasonable control, we will, where applicable, offer an alternative arrangement or refund monies paid for services that cannot be provided, subject to the terms of the relevant booking.
We will not be responsible for additional compensation or costs arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including force majeure events.
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to an itinerary when necessary due to circumstances including weather, road conditions, park regulations, flight schedules, accommodation availability, security concerns, operational requirements, government decisions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If a significant change is required, we will inform the client as soon as reasonably practicable and, where possible, offer a suitable alternative.
No compensation will be payable for changes caused by force majeure or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Roar of Serengeti Safaris shall not be liable for failure, delay, cancellation, or alteration of services resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, war, terrorism, civil unrest, political instability, natural disasters, extreme weather, epidemics or pandemics, government restrictions, border closures, strikes, road closures, flight disruptions, wildlife-related incidents, changes in park regulations, or other unforeseeable events.
